Esta t\u00e9cnica permite llevar tejido adiposo de la parte tor\u00e1cica lateral del mismo seno afectado hacia la zona donde se retir\u00f3 el tejido tumoral, con el prop\u00f3sito de conservar la mama y permitirle a la paciente sentirse c\u00f3moda con su cuerpo y afrontar mejor la enfermedad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Esta cirug\u00eda oncopl\u00e1stica fue realizada por primera vez en nuestra instituci\u00f3n a una paciente diagnosticada con c\u00e1ncer en el seno derecho, quien tras dos a\u00f1os de tratamiento tuvo una respuesta cl\u00ednica importante, pues el tumor hab\u00eda desaparecido casi en su totalidad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cLa intervenci\u00f3n se le puede realizar a aquellas personas que tengan el tratamiento de c\u00e1ncer de mamas bajo control, convirtiendo al LICAP en una alternativa al tratamiento regular que se practica en el pa\u00eds, como la mastectom\u00eda o cuadrantectom\u00eda\u201d, indica el Dr. Pino.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">En el hospital Santa Rosa a pesar de la pandemia ocasionada por la COVID-19, hemos continuado captando a nuevos pacientes oncol\u00f3gicos que no pueden esperar a la culminaci\u00f3n del estado de emergencia para iniciar sus tratamientos contra el c\u00e1ncer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Recordemos qu\u00e9, es de vital importancia que las pacientes entre los 20 y 25 a\u00f1os de edad, se realicen un autoexamen de mama para conocer su cuerpo y a la vez, determinar los factores de riesgo como tener antecedentes familiares con c\u00e1ncer de mama, as\u00ed mismo, fumar, beber alcohol, no haber tenido hijos y la obesidad, son aspectos que debemos evaluar para tener un cuidado especial.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right\"><strong>Pueblo Libre,
